Taylor Dillon

MS, LPC, NCC, CAADC

My lifelong passion is helping others navigate life’s challenges and increasing their comfortability with themselves so they can reach their fullest potential.  My clinical experience of working with individuals with a broad spectrum of mental health issues and substance use disorders has prepared me to help people weather their storms and move through life successfully.

My holistic and solution focused approach is centered on increasing one’s overall wellness. Since each person’s journey and needs are different, I work with each individual collaboratively, and at their own pace, to identify and utilize their strengths and talents in order to help guide them from simply surviving in life to flourishing.

As a therapist, my goal is to help you grow and thrive within your environment. I create a safe and supportive atmosphere where individuals have the opportunity to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, develop a realistic plan, learn healthy coping strategies, and increase their self-confidence and self-efficacy. This exploration leaves people feeling empowered, hopeful, balanced and grounded, ready to meet life challenges and create lasting, meaningful change.

I am a Pennsylvania Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Villanova University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which helps my clients come to understand themselves in a more profound way through exploring how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact with one another. I draw from other therapeutic modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, and have a trauma-informed approach.
