Katelin McNally

MFT, MEd, MS, LPC, CAADC

Since starting my career 8 years ago, my passion has been to work closely with my clients in helping them manage their mental health and ability to grow from within. I am pleased to offer my services from my education and experiences with inpatient and outpatient populations. The clients I support are people who struggle with mental health issues, addictions, family, couples’ concerns, and a range of obstacles within human sexuality. I’ve helped clients successfully navigate through abuse and trauma, life transitions and grief and loss.

My goal is to build from the root, to form solid foundation. Exploring these root causes will help you gain stability to be able to talk through your challenges and receive support to better your overall wellness. The treatment provided is based on a systems model of therapy, this enables me to understand the whole picture, not just the presenting problem. This unique and holistic approach to therapy offers clients an opportunity to investigate life’s struggles and how they can initiate long term growth for their mental well-being.

I believe that each person has the ability to identify what they need; however, they often do not know how to communicate what they are feeling or how to identify what they need to be in peace with themselves. As the therapist my role is to help a person listen to them-self, identify their feelings and how those feelings connect with their struggles. When this happens patients can communicate prolifically, understand their desires, and support their internal growth, rising from that hopelessness they have felt.

It will be a privilege to work with you on your journey to help you fulfill your life goals with insight and coping skills.

I am a Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor with Clinical Master’s Degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy and Co-occurring Disorders from Chestnut Hill College. Additionally, I have earned a Master of Education in Human Sexuality Studies from Widener University where I am currently a PhD Candidate. I am also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
